Get the High Vibe: 7 ways to Hijack the Force

If you have experienced any sort of awakening you can feel the difference between vibrationally dense living and the light ‘magical’ way. I employ holistic practices to lighten up my vibration and allow room for healthy growth in my life. When you are living in the creative flow of the universe— creation is an organic process that grows as it is meant to be just like a seed growing into a tree. I can stay in the flow for days and days at a time and experience a fairly easy flow of bliss if I practice high vibrational living.

What is High Vibrational Living?

Before I get too far in my recommendations, I want to demystify what hippies really mean when we talk about vibration. Simply put, everything in the universe vibrates with an electromagnetic frequency. Certain brain wave states cannot be achieved or maintained in “low” frequencies. Our physical vessels vibrate at a higher frequency when we avoid certain practices and adopt certain practices. In this way we can purposefully augment the elusive process of “reaching our potential”. 

I will give you a very basic list of ways to raise your vibration. I will tell you without a doubt that in the higher vibrations ‘magical’ things happen. It is a beautiful, wonderful, awe-inspiring thing, as far as I can tell governed by mysterious scientific laws we haven’t quite grasped yet.

How to Wake up and Feel Alive

Essentially, things that promote health and pleasure are vibration-raising. Consuming animal products will cause your body to vibrate literally at a lower vibration than if you adopt a plant-based diet. In reality this means the electromagnetic energy of the universe goes through your physical vessel like a muddy filter, and you are less receptive to the force of electricity that drives the universe. When you lighten things up, and purposefully allow more energy to course through your physical body, interesting things happen at the higher levels of consciousness. Conversely, low vibrations allow for sickness.

The brain and the heart essentially run on electricity, and when we remove blockages to that energy flow, we are making new things possible. Higher states of awareness will cause higher states of performance in different areas of life. The limits to these states of awareness are boundless.

To switch things up to the health promoting way, you have to retrain your habits and your brain. I will give you some easy tips now.

7 Lifestyle Hacks to Feel the Force

1) Eat colorful, fresh and organic.

We always of course want to be living in the light, but old habits creep up and drag us down. Happened to me right after Christmas so to perk myself up I prepared a light Asian inspired organic vegan feast. Every bite was a delight. Densely nutritious carrots, spinach, garlic and tofu will give you the focus you need to come out on top. Feed your body straight nutrients and your mind will lighten up! Recipe below.

2) Take a break from animal products.

Experiment with delicious new recipes. Many gorgeous blogs have caused me to taste things I never would have imagined such as my new favorite food of the gods, cacao nibs— or coconut vanilla almond quinoa with berries, my new favorite breakfast. Create daily goals for yourself and get excited about plant based cooking and the wonderful ways you are loving your body.

3) Meditate

My favorite meditation lately is the Fractal Mind Meditation. It consists of 4 separate programs for reaching alpha, beta, theta and gamma brain wave states. Practicing meditation with this beautiful technology augments relaxation and transcendence which benefit the body and mind in measurable ways. Straight up, meditation promotes physical health. 4) Practice positivity

This is impossible to stress enough, since we live in a fear-based hateraceous society that rewards haterism on the surface. Everyone wants to find dirt and flaws in people but we really have to understand that to do so hijacks positive results in our own lives. To purposefully say and do kind and loving things will absolutely cause new, exciting opportunities to open up for you. 

5) Smoothies!

My smoothie base is almond milk and a frozen banana. From there it can go green with spinach, pink with strawberries and coconut milk or any color based on what I have on hand. Smoothie making has become an art form, with decadent toppings such as cacao nibs and hemp hearts. You can start each day with fresh enzymes, protein and omega 3’s based on your preferred smoothie formula. It is such a self loving thing to do.
I love these cacao nibs so much! I like them better than chocolate chips. These are a true food of the gods. As are hemp hearts, get some!

6) Aromatherapy

Practice using essential oils in your self care routine. Aromatherapy oils are carriers of high vibration you can ingest (some, not all! Do research) causing the high vibration to travel through your body. Vibration can also be raised through olfactory use. Frankincense, for example has been shown to be an antidepressant.

7) Gratitude

Enjoy yourself and love yourself. Negative thinking can diminish your health and lower your physical resonance, and loving yourself does exactly the opposite. If you put these principles into practice, you will experience noticeable change. Luscious Spinach Miso Soup

Serves 2
  • 1/4C miso paste
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 sprigs green onion, sliced
  • 8oz firm tofu, cut into 1/2 inch squares
  • 3 carrots, sliced into rounds
  • 1C spinach
  • 3C water
  • 1T olive oil
  • 1t chopped ginger (optional)
  • toasted sesame oil (optional)
  • chopped cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Sautee garlic in olive oil. Add ginger if using. Add water and bring to boil. Add carrots, green onions and miso paste. Cook for 10 minutes. Add spinach and tofu and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes. Add a dash of toasted sesame oil and garnish with cilantro, if using. Bon Apetit!

Sriracha soy tofu bites with roasted asparagus

I can’t take credit for the scrumptious tofu. I prepared this awesome dish from Garden of Vegan. It is so good I have made it and remade it several times. Try it here. 

To prepare the asparagus, I roasted it in 2T olive oil for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. I love taking care of myself with fresh veg! Now I am ready for my fractal meditation! Peace y’all!
